Happy Friday Baby Easy! I was driving to work this morning thinking about you when I realize...I've been chatting away on this blog and never introduced myself!! Yes, I know that you're currently living inside my belly, but still. I am Stephanie and I am your momma. I'm currently 27 and feel like I've been waiting my whole life for you. I am so excited to be a mommy and cannot wait to meet you. I have terrible patience so this is a slow torture for me. I grew up here in Tampa and have a feeling this is where you will be growing up too. I don't think there's any chance on earth your grandparents would ever let us take you away from them. Your daddy and I met about 5-6 years ago and were friends for the longest time. At first we'd only occasionally see each other out and about but probably about 2 years ago we started spending a lot more time together and truly started to get to know each other. We're both Gator fans so I used to go and meet him at our favorite little bar, Peabody's, to watch football, eat wings, hang out. We probably did this almost every weekend for a while. Then, stubborn little mommy got it in her head that she wanted to move away. Partly to get out and experience something new, and partly to see if I could get your daddy to make a move. HE DID NOT. He let my stubborn little butt get into the car, drive 16 hours, and then I turned around 2 days later and came home. Let me tell you, I think he was both shocked and scared out of his mind that I expected him to put the moves on me. He did not disappoint. After the 4th of July (2010) we were pretty much inseparable. I think we both had that feeling that this was it. He moved in pretty quickly, kind of an accident, and about 7 months later here you are!!! YAY!! You can't even begin to imagine how loved you already are. By both of us of course but your grandparents, great grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends...everyone. You will definitely be spoiled (no brats allowed though), but you will also no doubt always feel loads of love.
May 9th I'm going in to find out what you are. That way we can give you a name rather than Baby Easy or Squirrel. We already have them picked out and can't wait to give it to you. We have big plans for you kid- from baseball superstar (or softball?) to chef to future
Florida Gator. <- that is one non-negotiable. You HAVE to be a Gator fan :) I've been watching 100's of Supernanny episodes so don't be thinking you're going to get anything past me... I love you baby. I'll try and make daddy do his own little introduction for you too.
