Currently we have a couple little projects under construction in our world. The first and most important being little Austin. I have now entered the dark period of the 3rd trimester. Haha, it's not so bad so far, I just keep hearing a million of weird things. My feet (if you can call them that) are still swelling and looking GROSS, my back is beginning to ache and I'm noticing I'm way more tired now. I've noticed that the nights Eric massages those porkers they seem to swell less the next day, HINT HINT. Austin I assume is doing great. I'm beginning to feel more rolling than kicking. He seems to constantly be turning somersaults in my belly and it's really fun to watch. You can see my belly button just do this neat little wave thing non stop. We have not witnessed any hands or feet yet, but I'm sure we will seeing as he has some time to go. I can't believe we're in the home stretch. I haven't started feeling any braxton hicks yet, I assume I'd know what they are??? Haha I swear as I typed that I literally felt a little tweak in my belly.
The 2nd little construction project going is Austin's room. I love it. There are a few more things we're hoping to put in there. We're kinda wanting the last little dresser piece that goes with it, maybe a rug and some type of chair. I don't really want a glider or rocker, I'd prefer something more versatile and comfortable. But, we shall see!
28 weeks-
Your baby is settling into the proper position for birth, with his head facing downward (toward your body's nearest exit!). Your little work in progress is now about 2.5 pounds and almost 16 inches long. He's busy adding new skills such as blinking to an already impressive repertoire of tricks like coughing, sucking, hiccuping, and taking practice breaths. Your baby's sleep now includes the REM (rapid eye movement) phase — and that means he could be dreaming already (what do you suppose he's dreaming about?). He's also developing billions of neurons in his brain and adding more body fat in preparation for life in the outside world.

How beautiful you both look!!!!! It is so sweet to see you both so happy, before you know "little Austin" will be here.
